What we store
Your basics: name, email, and phone number.
Your orders: what you ordered, where, and when.
Your preferences: diet needs, favorites, and usual orders.
Addresses you save.
Basic usage info, like device and app data, to keep things working.
What we don't store
We don't store your card number. When you add a card it goes into our payment provider's PCI compliant vault, and Layout only holds a token. We don't keep or log your actual card details.
We don't keep a history of where you've been. If you share your location to find a nearby spot, that share expires within the hour and is treated as gone after that. A saved address is one you chose to save.
We also don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who sees your info
The restaurant gets what it needs to make your order: your name, the order, and usually a contact detail for their confirmation.
Trusted providers help us run the service, like hosting, payments, and text messages. The current list is at layout.link/subprocessors.
Your assistant handles your chat under its own privacy policy. Layout sees the requests it makes on your behalf, not the rest of your conversation.
Your choices
You can ask to see, fix, or delete your data. Just reach out to us at [email protected]. Deleting your account gives you a 30 day window to change your mind, and after that it's gone for good. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights, like under CCPA.
