Ordering with Layout is just talking. Say what you want in plain words and Layout handles it. Here's how to get exactly what you're after.
Just say it
Type your order the way you'd text a friend. For example:
"Order me an iced brown sugar latte at Starbucks."
"My usual from Chipotle."
"A large pepperoni pizza from the closest Domino's."
Add sizes and options
Put the details right in your request. Size, milk, toppings, spice, extras, it all works:
"Grande, oat milk, extra shot."
"No onions, add guac."
"Medium, well done."
Order more than one thing
Ask for everything in one go and Layout builds one cart with all of it. Only one order can be building at a time, so let it finish before starting another.
Pick the spot
Name the location if you know it, like "the one on 5th." If you don't, Layout asks you which one instead of guessing, and puts the nearest open one first. You'll see the exact spot in the preview before you confirm.
Timing
Every order goes in as soon as possible, the same as ordering at the counter. Layout can't schedule one for later. If the earliest slot a restaurant offers is on a different day, Layout stops and asks you first rather than quietly booking you in for tomorrow.
Diet needs
Save your dietary restrictions once and Layout keeps them in mind on every order. You can also add them in the moment, like "make it dairy free." Layout checks your order against them before placing it, but an allergy is serious enough that it's worth checking yourself too.
What Layout won't do
It won't add a tip for you, apply a promo code, use your loyalty account or points, schedule an order, or deliver. Everything is pickup.
Always check the preview before you confirm. Need to change something? See Change or cancel an order.
