Add Layout to Claude

Set up the Layout connector in Claude, step by step.

Claude does not list Layout in its connector directory yet, so you add it yourself. It takes about a minute on a computer.

Start here

Go to layout.link/setup/claude and press Open Claude.

Claude opens in a new tab with the connector box already filled in. Press Add and you are done.

If Claude asks you to sign in first, sign in, then come back to the Layout tab and press Open Claude again. The box only appears once you are signed in, so the second press is what brings it back.

Finish in Claude

  1. Press Add on the box that appears.

  2. Approve Layout when Claude asks to connect your account.

  3. Add a card if you have not already.

If the box does not appear

You can type it in yourself. In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and fill in these two fields:

Name: Layout

Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.layout.link

The setup page has a copy button next to each one.

On your phone

Connectors are added from Claude on the web, so this goes quickest on a computer. If you tap the link on your phone and the Claude app opens instead of your browser, that is why. Use the copy button on the setup page to send yourself the link.

Then just order

Ask Claude for food like you would ask for anything else. Layout finds the spot, builds the order, and pays once you confirm, all without leaving the chat.

New to ordering? See Place your first order.
